- Hi! My name is Janet Butterfield and welcome to my blog. I started my own embroidery business in March 2008. So far, it has been such an fantastic learning experience and I've had wonderful success. I have had great support from the local businesses, giving me the opportunity to do embroidery for them. My machine is an Amaya XT commercial embroidery machine, with Design Shop Pro Plus software. I attended a week long embroidery training, at Melco, in Denver when I first started, to learn the basics. Nate Moore was my teacher - he is a very patient teacher, and an exceptional digitizer! I have continued to learn something every time I turn my machine on.
